Slash Burn Permits for 2020-2021

We are currently under a fire ban but you may proceed to obtain the necessary permit in preparation for the slash burning season. The permit process has changed and you are no longer required to obtain a permit application from EFR or visit our offices for a signature. Please select the county of your burn location below and complete the application provided for that county.

Clear Creek County:   State of CO Burn Permit Application 2020-2021     Once you have completed the application it may be mailed, emailed, or faxed directly to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment at the addresses/number shown on page 2 of the application. After EFR receives notification that the permit has been issued, we will notify
Clear Creek County of the permit.
See the section below once you have your burn permit.

Jefferson County:  JeffCo Permit Application 2020-2021    Once you have completed the application it may be mailed, emailed, or faxed directly to Jefferson County Public Health along with your permit fee to the address/number shown on page 1 of their application.
